Shannon Maynor originally from California, was trained at California Dance Theatre with Stanley Holden, Kim Maselli, and Charles Maple. While at CDT Shannon was a semi-finalist at the prestigious Music Center Spotlight Awards. At the age of 16, she attended San Francisco Ballet School on full scholarship under Helgi Thomasson and Gloria Gorvin. She then worked with Oregon Ballet Theatre, Eglevsky Ballet, Ballet Deviare, Lydia Johnson Dance and VISIONS Contemporary Ballet.
Erin Ginn began training with Karen Gibbons-Brown in Kingsport, TN. She attended Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA and was awarded Honors for Outstanding Achievement in Ballet. In 2002, she competed at International Ballet Competition. Her professional experience includes Cincinnati Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, SenseDance, and Neglia Ballet Artists, to name a few.
Joel Levy attended Indiana University where he studied under Michael Vernon and performed many of the classics such as Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Cinderella as well as Balanchine work such as Serenade, Allegro Brilliante, and The Four Temperaments. He danced with Columbia City Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego, Sacramento Ballet, Washington Ballet, Cherylyn Lavagningo Dance and Dances Patrelle.
From Brooklyn, NY, Criss Rodriguez trained at Ballet Hispanico and the Ailey School. She danced in "Memoria" by Alvin Ailey with Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, and in "Revelations." She has worked with choreographers such as Francesca Harper, Troy Powell, Christopher Huggins, Pedro Ruiz, Ronald K. Brown, and Robert Battle. Professionally Criss has worked with Ballet Hispanico Ensemble, The Albano Ballet, Nick Cave Project, and STEPS Repretory Ensemble.
From Los Angeles, California, Malik Warlick started training at Debbie Allen Dance Academy before enrolling in the Performing Arts Magnet Program at Hollywood High School. Upon graduation in 2009, he attended The Ailey School. During his time at The Ailey School, he was selected to perform with members of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Matthew Rushing's work "In The Void". Mr. Warlick has performed professionally with Ronald K. Brown/Evidence, BalaSole Dance Company, Armitage Gone! Dance.
Satomi Itohara began her ballet training in Yamaguchi, Japan. She continued her education at Utah Valley University on a scholarship, where she earned a BFA in Dance. Satori was invited to join the Joffrey Ballet School Performance Company under the direction of Davis Robertson. As a member of the company, she worked with choreographers such as Africa Guzman, Julie Bour, Larry Keigwin, Brian McSween, and Davis Robertson.
Dona Wiley trained at the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance in Connecticut, and was awarded the silver medal at the Connecticut Classic Ballet Competition in 2011. She currently works with Neville Dance Theatre, Felice Lesser Dance Theatre and CelloPointe. Ms. Wiley has also performed with Connecticut Ballet, Neglia Ballet Artists, Staten Island Ballet, IKADA Dance, Ballet Inc, and the Taormina Teatro Group. With these various companies she has performed works by George Balanchine, Emery LeCrone, Gabrielle Lamb, and David Fernandez.
Alessio Crognale was born in Lanciano (Abruzzo) in central Italy. He started his training with the Art Studio Dance School in Lancino with Mirta and Nicoletta Damiani. He later moved to Milan to the Academy of Centro Studi Coreografici Teatro Carcano to study Vaganova technique with Margarita Smirnov, formerly with the Bolshoi Ballet Theatre. Mr. Crognale is a member of the Martha Graham's Ensemble (Graham 2) and recently completed the Professional Training Program at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance.
Lyric Danae is a Denise Jefferson Memorial Scholar in the Alvin Ailey/Fordham BFA program. Ms. Danae is a graduate of LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Nijinsky Award Recipient, a YoungArts 2013 Modern Dance Finalist and a 2013 US Presidential Scholars Semi-Finalist. She is currently working with Samuel Asher Kunzman and Sans Limites Dance Company and has performed works by Brian Arias Diaz, Zvi Gotheiner, Christopher Huggins, Earl Mosley, Jennifer Muller, Pedro Ruiz, Nathan Trice, and Nicholas Villeneuve.
Khiara M. Bridges
Originally from Miami, Florida, Khiara M. Bridges began her ballet training at Miami City Ballet School. She went on to train at Atlanta Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and with her mentor and coach, Kat Wildish. Chair received her J.D from Columbia Law School and her PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University. Khiara is currently an Associate Professor at the Boston University School of Law.
Taylor Kindred trained at Ballet Arts Academy in Missoula, MT, Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington DC and The Ellison Ballet. He appeared with Connecticut Ballet, Continuum Contemporary Ballet, Universal Ballet of Seoul South Korea, and Ajkun Ballet Theatre, and with Yuka Kawazu/Danse En L'air. As a ballet instructor, Taylor has taught for the LUDT Dance in Italy Festival, Westchester County public schools and many studios throughout New York.
Andre Christopher Drummond is from Queens, New York and began his classical training at Professional Performing Arts High School/The Ailey School. Before this, Andre toured with the step dancing ministry Nubian Gents and Feminine Fire. He earned a BFA from the University of North Carolina and performed works by Jose Limon, Eliot Feld, Alwin Nikolais, Doug Elkins, Brenda Daniels, Sean Sullivan, Juel Lane, Bill T. Jones, and ABT Principal Susan Jaffe. He attended Springboard Danse in Montreal.
